Hunting at Abbott Shooting Preserve

Enjoy some of the best hunting in the South with Abbott Shooting Preserve in Barney, Georgia. Whether hunting in our beautiful pines or old fashion fence rows, you are sure to experience hunting like no other, along with memories that last a lifetime. At Abbott Shooting Preserve we offer quail, pheasant and chukar hunts. Our hunts are unlimited and there is no charge for over kill of birds.

All hunters are required to have a valid Georgia hunting license. You can purchase your permit online at https://www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com. You must have blaze orange from the waist up (hat, vest, shirt, etc.) and be sure to bring plenty of shells. (Shells are also available to purchase if needed).

Hunts begin on October 1st and runs through March 31st.

Hunting Rates

Quail Hunts

Half day quail hunt (up to 4 shooters) $1,000.00- includes guide, dogs, hunting vehicle and bird cleaning.
Full day quail hunt (up to 4 shooters) $1,800.00- includes guide, dogs, hunting vehicle and bird cleaning.

**All prices do not include sales tax and gratuity.

Pheasant Hunts

Pheasant Hunt (up to 4 shooters) $1,200.00- includes 20 pheasant, guide, dogs, hunting vehicle and bird cleaning.

Mixed Bag Hunts

Mixed bag hunt (up to 4 shooters) $1,200.00- includes 25 quail, 10 chukars, 5 pheasant, guide, dogs, hunting vehicle and bird cleaning.

Meals

Meals can be provided for any hunt or over night stay. Breakfast- $25.00

Lunch- $30.00

Dinner- $40.00
