Hunting Preserve at Abbott Shooting
Experience some of the best dove hunts and quail hunts in the South at Abbott Shooting Preserve in Barney, Georgia. Whether you choose to hunt in our stunning pines or along the old-fashioned fence rows, you're guaranteed a unique hunting experience filled with memories that will last a lifetime. At Abbott Shooting Preserve, our hunts are unlimited, and there’s no extra charge for any overkill of birds, including during our exciting pheasant shoot.
All hunters must possess a valid Georgia hunting license, which can be conveniently purchased online at https://www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com. Remember to wear blaze orange from the waist up (such as a hat, vest, or shirt) and bring plenty of shells, although they are also available for purchase if needed.
Hunts commence on October 1st and continue through March 31st.
Hunting Rates
Quail Hunts
Join us for an exciting half-day quail hunt for up to 4 shooters for $1,200.00. This package includes a guide, dogs, a hunting vehicle, and bird cleaning. If you're looking for a more extended adventure, our full-day quail hunt, also for up to 4 shooters, is offered at $2,400.00 and includes the same amenities. We also offer thrilling dove hunts and exhilarating pheasant shoots to enhance your hunting experience. **All prices do not include sales tax and gratuity.
Continental Pheasant Shoot
A great way to entertain a large group is with our 1/2 day pheasant shoot, where pheasants are launched from our 30-foot tower. This activity requires a minimum of 10 shooters and can accommodate up to 20 shooters, all for $375 per gun. The price includes a morning or afternoon shoot, along with lunch. Each shooter will enjoy 10 birds thrown, and for those looking for more excitement, extra birds can be added for $25 each. Dove Hunts
Enjoy fantastic dove hunts over planted corn and sunflowers during the seasonal Georgia dove seasons. We also offer options for pheasant shoots and quail hunts to enhance your experience. Meals
Meals can be provided for any dove hunts, pheasant shoot, or quail hunts, as well as for overnight stays.

Lodging
You can add overnight accommodations to your dove hunts, pheasant shoot, or quail hunts, either in the lodge or cabin, for $100.00 per person per night.
